keeping my head afloat

i ordered a whole bunch of stuff for uni and some are arriving tomorrow!! it kinda makes me nervous though because it makes it more real that i'm leaving, and i'm going far away, and that my family will make a whole lot of memories without me...

...at least that's what i thought as i watched everyone play badminton in the garden from my comfy spot with my laptop at the kitchen island. it's funny cos i was wrangling with the html editor and cursing about my lack of aptitude for code/programming/css with my mind focused on how everyone will play more badminton games without me (but i don't even play badminton in the first place!)

i finally got my first dose of the covid vaccine and now my arm feels heavier than the rest of my entire body

i'm relieved though, considering i'll be moving back to the city and actually interacting with others for uni, and the cases have been rising yet again. i've been away from london since may when i moved house, and i'll have to get used to the hustle and bustle again!
